Frequently asked questions

Everything operators usually ask before opening a desk. Not here? Write to us.

Any blog or site you connect to your desk: a WordPress install, a Ghost publication, a Webflow site, a Blogger blog, or a Markdown/HTML export destination for static sites. Each property keeps its own calendar, voice and publishing schedule.

You set each property's niche, cadence and any fixed dates (launches, seasonal pushes). The desk proposes a week of headlines per property, avoiding topics it has already covered there. You accept, swap or reorder pitches — usually a few minutes per week.

No — that is what property voices prevent. Each property stores its own tone, reading level, banned phrases, required disclosures and byline conventions, and drafts are generated against that profile every time.

Only if you want it to. Every property has a mode switch: full-auto (approved drafts publish on schedule), review-required (everything waits in the edit queue), or approval mode (a named editor or client must sign off).

WordPress, Ghost, Webflow and Blogger directly, plus clean Markdown or HTML export with front matter for Hugo, Jekyll, Astro and other static-site generators.

The demo Writing Desk on this site runs entirely in your browser and needs no key. The production platform calls leading AI models from our servers; your account never handles or exposes API keys.

Drafts are generated fresh per assignment and checked against your property's own archive for overlap. As with any content operation, we recommend the edit queue stay on — an editor's pass is what turns a good draft into a publishable post.

Yes. Newsroom includes 3 seats and Network includes 10, with roles: writers submit to the queue, editors approve and schedule, and admins manage properties and billing. Clients can be given approval-only access.

The desk pauses new drafting until your billing date resets the counter — scheduled posts that already cleared the queue still publish. You can upgrade mid-cycle and the new limit applies immediately.

Yes. Connecting a property syncs its archive so the calendar avoids duplicate coverage and internal-link suggestions can point at your real posts. Nothing in your archive is modified.

From your dashboard, in two clicks, anytime. Your calendars stay visible and documents remain exportable until the end of the paid period. There is no cancellation call and no retention offer maze.
